This post has nothing to do about Scar or The Lion King. I was trying to thing of an appropriate title that encapsulated the craziness of the past few weeks and this was the first thing that popped into my head. Thus, a title is born. There is some truth though–this whirlwind of life has been mad and I am a king.

Boars are mean and the birds are harmless–but the armadillos dig holes in your yard. But actually I have a serious post to write, so let’s just take a moment to enjoy the coolness of the armadillo (despite its digging habits) before I jump in.
Last week, on February 24, my little brother insisted on being the first in our family to arrive at the greatest place of all: Heaven. My life has changed drastically and my entire perspective on life has shifted.
First reason is that I’m a sinner. Thought I’d get the real obvious one out of the way first. I’m a sinner, I fall waaaaay short of God’s holy standards, I’m in need of grace, lying is but one fatal sin among many. Praise God for the person of Jesus Christ. But moving on to reasons 2 and 3…
