Today, I Feel Popular
Today, I drove five hours, 30 minutes of which was spent attempting to drive with my knees while eating a Sheetz sandwich. Thankfully, the highway was mostly empty. Today, I arrived at Houghton College to spend a week visiting friends and playing music. Today, I’ve been hugged and encouraged by many of my friends whom I haven’t seen for awhile. Today, I feel popular.
Harvest U 2014 Day 5: Fervent Prayer and Final Parting
Harvest University has ended. What a ride it has been. Today’s final elective was by far my favorite elective thus far and Pastor James MacDonald’s final session was a challenge and encouragement. I am leaving this conference refreshed and with a renewed passion for my great God. Not only that, but God has answered prayer: I have direction. Harvest U 2014 Day 2: Kick-Off
At 2:30am this morning, I was rudely awakened by the ear-splitting beeping of the smoke alarm in our apartment. In addition to the high-pitched beeping was an automated voice proclaiming “Fire, fire.” So naturally, I kept my eyes closed, assumed someone else would take care of the problem, and went back to sleep.
